Hey guys,
I'm sorry if this has been asked but I did search for it.
I was told that a Vitara G16B intake manifold would bolt onto the G13A head.
I'm asking because I want to fuel injection but am still on my P plates so I can't do an engine conversion just yet.

SO, I was wondering if anyone knew anything and could help me out?
Would really appreciate any insight into this.
Thanks.

It wont bolt on.
Unfortunately there is no easy way, or else everyone would be doing it.

G16a 8v manifolds will bolt on, but it wont help you. Id guess this is where the misinformation came from.

Few options to convert to efi without an increase in capacity

Easiest way to make your car efi, would be to use a whole jimny motor, loom etc and obtain efi that way.
Whilst this is an engine swap, being g13 and no increase in volume, you'd probably have try to claim its a replacement engine.

You could also use a g13b (from gti) and work along the same lines.

A throttle body injection system (31zook car was cletus and jonmath have done this conversion)

A 16v head and run efi that way, but still need 16v pistons.
Possible to rebuild yours into a g13b (gti) or g13bb (jimny) bottom end, then slap the 16v heads and efi on top
(however as yours is g13a and has a slightly longer stroke, you would have lower compression if you used a crank from g13b/g13bb)

Or injector holes can be machined into the 8v head and you could try bastardising a mpfi system, but this is probably the most work. Ive seen a few threads on pirate4x4 of this being done

Ah man that sucks.
Will have to start looking for an intact G13BB and loom then.
