hey i just installed a 1L case (with a 4WD activation light) into my 89 WT 1.3 sierra. I flogged the flanges off another 1.3 case i had laying around, and now none of the shafts line up? Is there any difference between a 1.3NT and a 1.3WT?

early 1 litre, 1.3 NT and 1.3 WT are all different

to make the 1ltr case work in the Wt you need to swap the case ends with 1ltr ones. This can be done but you need to use 2 halves of 2 different unis. Bearing caps are the same size but one has an external clip the other has an internal clip. Not that hard to make work. I ran it for years untill some propper gears came my way.

Did you have one without the 4wd light or not? Mine splines are the same... but i havn't taken the hand brake off yet to see if the problem is how far it slides in... Im thinking it bolt's straight up... we'll see tomorrow

had both. the switch type used NT patern and the non light one used the small flanges which needed the uni conversion.

the flanges you got off the other 1.3 must of been nt. pull the flanges from the case with the gears.
