hi im after a crownwheel from a 4.3 centre they have a 43 tooth count also after a rh inner cv to make a stubby shaft. Thanks in advance for any replys

4.3... front or rear? Why only the crownwheel, and not the matched set (ring and pinion)

Crap sorry rear wanting to try a mixture of gears hoping to run a 43 tooth cw with an 8 tooth pinion for 5.375 gears. Ive already got the front

Ive got a 5.1cw and 4.3 pinion in a carrier right now with no binding wws kinda hoping it would work the other way .will put it together when I put my steel diff in and check tooth pattern etc

If it doesn't bind straight away then you have lucked out and the pressure angles are similar enough to not feel it. I think you will still have problems with the pressure angle under power.
Gears are paired though, you shouldn't use a second hand gear from two different sets. It will cause premature wear and strength issues.

Just don't try it too far from home  do you want a gv or sv rh inner cup?

Gv i think arent they the higher spline count 26 i think. Imfigure if im going to the effort of putting the steel diff in and making a stubby shaft i might as well upgrade to the larger axle/spline count while im at it

got heaps of GV ones but they wont clip into the Vitara centre. You want the 26 spline inner for a 95-97 SV420 / SV620 Vitara.

If there was a 1530 lockright with the 26 spline couplers going in at the same time would this make a difference??
