Got a new fuel pump yesterday from Autopro and it doesnt seem to work. When it is bolted up and he car is turning over it doesnt seem to seal against the head and it spews out oil from the bottom. I tried 2 different gaskets and they both do the same. Upon looking at the pump they are a little bit different (Photo attatched) looking for suggestions on what to do?
Thanks

Did you put the little plastic spacer back in too? All surfaces cleaned before reassembly?

Not sure if you would really call it a spacer? It is just like a plastic gasket?

I believe the purpose of the spacer is as a heat insulator. It helps to stop the fuel getting heated unneccesarily.

New pump could have a stronger spring. Make sure you do up nuts evenly, so it don't jam, and do up to spec.

I have a new pump coming today from 4wdproducts off ebay, I have used him before for other stuff so i sure it will be right. It comes with 2 gaskets. I have done some research and it looks like I need to put a gasket on both side of the black spacer? Is that right
