slightly off topic but does anyone have info on fitting a arb swb 89 vit bar to a 96 lwb came across a bargan but want to make sure first

Mine had the mounts cut off, then the upper ones re-welded to sit between teh LWB chassis rails. The bottom of the bar was welded to a bracket that originally held a wrap-over style bullbar, and this was mounted to the lower crossmember. If you can get $500 for your SWB bar it's easier to buy a new LWB bar.

This ^ x2 and imho the factory mounts work great  Notice how the bar is still fairly straight
