Seems like Twin Stick won't be able to supply these anymore, so where can we get these from?

Overkill make an alloy type, but being alloy I'm wondering about its strength.

Have you got a lathe? It wasn't anything that special just a length of 4130 cut to size, drilled and taped for landcruiser rod ends with a flat machined to tighten it up. If you went to any machine shop they could probably do it reasonably cheap.

According to Pete his "machinist has shut up shop which is why he cannot supply them anymore.

Unfortunately I don't have the right tools for the job, and I don't know of anyone local that would be able to do this.

Because of experience with 6000/7000 series alloy arms. Takes a lot to bend them and stay bent.

But I hate the misconception people have with alloy arms.

I have spent many hours trying to bend back "heavy duty" chromo arms that are so bent you can't drive it and it's impossible to bend back with bush tools.

The same kind of redneck hit on an alloy arm and unfortunate enough that it does bend. It's driveable within tie rod adjustment.

i ran toys by troy alloy steering arms on my old tj
i would have no drama in running alloy again
very hard to bend permanently,
i jacked up the front of my rig on the center of the tie rod to bend it just to show how it flexed back into place
tbt actually offered lifetime warranty on them from memory

Buzbox, the alloy ones are strong and after seeing a hydraulic ram push one down in the centre of the tie on rod a good 100mm then go back to been straight it's a better option than cromo arms imo. It's the way I would go next time instead of cromo arms

I believe that would be Overkill engineering. And cost nearly double of what off-road solutions has quoted me.

I'm yet to hear of anyone bending one of either material, so I think the chromoly would do just fine.
