hey guys i replaced my snapped speedo cable a few weeks ago and i don't think its sitting properly in the transfer. i had my first drive of it yesterday no speedo until i just about got home and it worked for about 5 seconds. i removed the cable and tried turning it with it a screwdriver the wife said it was slightly moving?? is there something i'm missing is there a trick or something? any help or ideas greatly appreciated
Step 1: make sure cable is all the way home at BOTH ends. If this fails Step 2 : pull off bottom end and put cordless dril on it.....speedo reads high, success box end is the failure.if not Step 3: pull off speedo end, if you can't spin it speedo is the failure. You'll probably find when you get both ends seated properly the problem will be gone

Yea I removed the cluster to swap it over, apparently you don't really need to but I found it easier, I think it would be easier to drop the steering column as I broke the clips on my trying to remove it! Good luck
