I people, I have recently purchased a 2009 Jimny and I am reading the user manual and it says the towing is
Braked : 450kg Unbraked: 350kg
I thought the jimny had 1.3T braked and 350kg unbraked can anyone clarify this for me?
Thanks!

doesn't the manufactures tow rating overwrite the department of transports rating or is it the other way around?

alien wrote: out of curiosity what's the max towball down weight on a jimny?? 75kg So if you throw a trailer with the max capacity 1300kg load on the back you can't even get close to the recommended 10% of trailer weight on the tow ball. Another reason why not to drag big loads with Jimnys.

how do you ADR stamp a towbar? a towbar cant comply to ADR's. its got no wheels
If you have ABS then I would be inclined to get clarification from Suzuki based on your VIN
