Hi all, I have a lockright 1520-lr for sale. Never used due to powertrax application guide being wrong, i.e wont fit in the rear of a GV despite being specified to. Fits a 1ltr serria though Only want to recover what I paid for it which is $290, It will fit in a 3kg auspost bag parcel or express Which makes it $290 + $14.80 Express $304.80 or $290 + $13.40 Parcel Post $303.40 EDIT: I'll take $250 + Post for the locker, Final price before it goes to egay

So the box says this is a LR 1520? The 1520's I used to get for the 1 litre diffs was different. Most obvious being that a 1 litre diff is 4 pinion, that is for a 2 pinion diff... maybe it's for a coily or Jimny?

I thought the 1520 was to fit the front diff in the SQ series Grand Vitara
If you want a Lockright for the rear diff you need a 1510 or a Spartan.
I know the 1510 fits as I had one in mine for a while (until the axles broke)

Is the 1510 the same as the Sierra ones?

1520 is the 1l/LJ one. 1510 is for the larger suzuki diffs. 3cyl wrote: So the box says this is a LR 1520? The 1520's I used to get for the 1 litre diffs was different. That's just the general Lockrite example pic used for all lockrites, you'l note it also has couplers which ours never did. I really should buy this.

Yep pic is just an example I can post real pics if necessary. atari4x4 wrote: would you take $200 + post? Sorry price is fixed, as stated only want to recover cost price. Cheapest delivered on ebay atm is $330 so it's still a good deal.

These would be pretty hard to come by these days, been out of production for a while now. I still have 1 in a diff and 2 spring & pin kits on the shelf.

The 1510 is the one that is used in the sierra diffs with the factory side gears. any Lockright that is listed to fit the Sierra will fit the Vitara and Grand Vitara. Front or rear. doesn't matter. I had 1510 Lockright lockers in both front and rear of my GV so I know they fit and work.

not in the rear of a gv (even though powertrax list it that way), it will fit the stock front(air centre), but the locker will only cover half the side gear in the rear diff or vitara front centre. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=46047

It fits 1l sierra and late LJ. Even if it does fit something else you'd probably just brake it.
I still should buy this.

hey mate, got some good news for you. ok so here is the deal and why it took so long to get back to you, The day you asked me for the locker I had just sold the GV. I sold the car to a mate of my neighbour who works out of town so I had to wait to see him again to ask him whether I could take the 1520lr and swap him a new in box 1510 (which I already had). The Gv is still in my possession as i am waiting for him to get the funds together. I had all the parts to do the solid front centre upgrade on the GV, which I sold with the car and hadn't gotten around to, once that was done he would have no use for the 1520 and as I'd like to try to help out a fellow zooker I asked the question? He said that was no problem, so the good news is YES you can take the locker , It will be used, but these things are just about unbreakable, rarely wear out and I'll give you the new springs set out of the 1510 box. I do however want $200 for it as now I have to rip the front diff out for you to recover the locker. let me know Toopy
