I don't understand why? My wife has never had a problem with fixed back seats in the five cars I've had them in over 15 years. In fact, I ran an SP-G in my daily for 7years

I've sat I those shell backed reclining Recaros- they are very comfy but I don't really understand the point of them. They're twice the price of a fixed back seat and have nowhere near the support.

Consider yourself a lucky man then! Getting in and out of a fixed back seat in a 4wd can get a bit tedious, although once you're in the effort seems worth it for me.
