i have a 1996 1600 injected vit which i need to rebody after a roll. Am i going to need to get a body from the same year to swap everything onto ? or will i be able to use any years body and swap all the dash and everything into it ?
any info on changes or what not will be greatly appreciated.
all the running gear and interior is all fine, other than the front soft top rail, so it's basically just swapping out the fucked body for a straight one, everything else is fine.

Good luck with the rebuild. Can you keep tabs on how to unscrew the dash? My dash has horrible rattles (worst one SuziAuto has ever heard!) and I'd like to find any other screws that I missed and try and tighten them up.

There aren't many screws but have you checked the ones near the windscreen. There are little tabs you can lift with a flat bladed screw driver to gain access.
