oil filter????

I have a 98 sierra with the g13b i think?

well i went to supercheap to get an oil filter. i checked the book, so i grabbed the one it said. got home and its to big.

anyone know what filter to get?

there is a smaller filter that fits, 142 or something like that. however i would put the 172 on.

172 is right, does it say it on the filter or jsut box?

125 is 1 litre one, but same thread and seal as 172

418 is smaller again

oh ok because the one i pulled off was small, but once i had a good look at the filter i have (172) it fits lol

as long as the seal and the thread on the filters are the same, it'll fit
