Hey it's a bit of a noob question but it's needed for me and for anyone else
I’ve had a look around searches and even general google searches can't seem to find much maybe it's cuz I’m a dummy and no one else has this problem..

How the heck do you roll up a 4WD awning properly??

Every time I roll ours up I always roll over one side and it will never fit back in the "canvas bag" thing you zip up.. I’ve tried with friends without friends and every time I’m standing there doing it probably 4-6+ times before I give up and just cram the thing in there the best I can..

Can anyone give me any tips on how to roll these bad boys up "easily" or guides???

oh it's a 2.5M X 2M - so it's not even like it's a big awning either i'm just lop sided or something..

Bit hard to explain

I get the two poles that go from the car to the end of the awaning and put them in then fold up the legs and get directly in the middle of the awning.

I stretch it out and keep it stretched and roll it downwards, if keep it streched and in the middle it doesnt tend to go more to one side etc.

Its easier if have two people eg you hold the awning out someone else folds away the poles then you both get each side and roll it up.

I found its easier to roll it downwards as sits nicer when ziped up and the velcro straps go around it easier.

Hold it in the middle and just roll it up tight and evenly.. My Roo systems awning allows for 2 inches of roll at both end in the bag it has.
Two people is a definate benefit.. if you can.

well i came and i saw and i conqured.

we went camping on the weekend and i rolled out the awning, once we were setup we camped for the weekend.
packing up rolled up the awning "down on it self" and bam first try i nailed it lol

something i dead set wouldn't have thought of doing was rolling it the other way and you are correct it fit way better into the bag too...
so there you have it.

:) Great to hear. learned that packing it up when really windy on a beach one day. No help as kids screaming. Rolled downwards and within 2min had it fit nicely away. Before it would be flapping around everywhere.

You think they will have a self wind in, like thoughs really old blinds. Prob would not be hard at all to adapt something like that.
