Hi everyone, as title says my jimny is stuck in 4x4. will go between high and low range fine but when i press the 2wd button nothing happens at all?? im thinking its something to do with the button or the electrical as it makes no sound or even attempts to disengage. i have tried turning off waiting and restarting, drove forwards backwards high and low range, even pulled the buttons off and gave it a blow out and a jiggle lol. any help much needed as i had a big day planned for her tomorrow...

are you engageing/ disengaging it while moving? usually this works pretty well. if you have vacume hubs check all the lines are still there.
check the plug on the back of the transfercase is still there. it hangs down a little and if you ramp over something, particularly in reverse, it can snag things

noworries. use it more often and it will engage and disengage freely.

yeh i work away so sits around for 4 weeks at a time. gets a good work out when im home tho.
