Total noob question. Been looking and sure there's an answer here somewhere, just got sick of searching!
Just put at g16 in my sierra. Wondering where the temp sender would be located? Is it the one that's in the thermo stat housing?

Yeah behind the thermostat



You can use it or run an aftermarket one

The sender for the temp gauge should be on the intake manifold under the thermostat housing area

G16b runs two themp senders.
One for the gauge in dash and one for the ecm.
The sierra g13 sender fits in vit manifold.
Both are located near the thermostat.
