New to the forum, new to Suzukis, or at least the 4 wheel variety. I've picked up a 2nd hand 2011 Prestige that has the 18" alloys. Needless to say I'd like to go to something smaller to give me more options on tyre choice, better ride comfort, off road performance etc.

I'd like to hear from those that have put (or tried to put) 16 inch wheels on this model. I'm looking at 16x7 with a 225 70 R16 tyre which will keep the overall tyre dimensions almost identical to the stock 225 60 R18's.

The tyres won't be a problem but I've found very little information on 16" rims for this model other than a few threads that seem to indicate 16x8 won't fit (which is a damn shame because the 16x8 CSA Jackal looks very nice, pity it doesn't come a bit skinnier).

Cheers,

Daniel

Don't know if the diesel has a different brake size to the v6 but I run a 16inch wheel with 245 75 16.

We have a 2008 JT 5 door. It came stock with 16in steel rims. I believe all models have the same brakes so fitting of the 16's shouldn't be an issue.

We upsized the tyres on ours to a 225/75/16 and it corrected the speedo to almost perfect.

What area you in....... Your welcome to come try one of my 16's on if your local to Melb?
