Heya..
We are doing up an old 1995 Sierra SJ70 (soft top) for our daughter...
Would the body panels and interior (seats, paneling, vinyl flooring etc) out of a 1997 SJ80 (coil sprung) be a compatible fit with the SJ70?
I have NO idea on this kind of thing.. someone is selling an SJ80 locally that has all the interior in really great condition.. would be awesome if I could just switch them over and also the front side panel (exterior) on the drivers side needs switching out..

The interior will all fit except for the front seats because they are different. Even the dash will fit if you have the right Wiring harness even the steering wheel column. All body panels fit except for the bonnet, you need to the front bit off as it's higher to fit the bonnet. The motor and gearbox is interchangeable. TC and diffs won't fit.

Okay Thanks for that... Ahhh yeah I see what you mean about the bonnet..
I'm guessing the front seats are similar to the Vitara... but the back seat does fit?
Might be a silly question but what about the windscreen panel? is that the same?

Back seat same no to the windscreen panel. They have got a more modern shape to them. Have a google search, they are very different

Sj80 to sj70 yes
but sj70 to sj80 no for legal reasons because there are no intrusion bars. But yes they do fit.
