got my zooki back with a new weber carby.. just wondering what the fuel economy will be like compared to the old mikuni carb. also ive heard that they flood when going up/downhills. any help would be great as im new to zooking :beer: :) 8)

This will depend on how you drive, you will have more power, so, mash the throttle, more fun, but more fuel used.

Have you done anything else, like, opened up the inlet manifold, makes a lot of difference, exhaust, more fuel means you need to go bigger for best effect.

Ignition, and inlet filter, these also need addressing, plugs, open them up some. Fuel, use 98 only, up your timing, Im up to 16 degrees BTDC on my toy, webber, exhaust, inlet, ignition, id start at 10 0r more as base.


I have a few suzis, with a little effort, my pretty much stocker went from 10 liters per hundred Kays to about 8, big difference, Driving Miss Daisy is easy, play a bit, down to around 20 Liters per hundred, but remember that is WOT zone.

Well tuned on the highway@100kph you should match or exceed the stock carb in economy. So around ~10km/L
