Hi All looking at filing a VS32 for for the Jimny. while i do live in the middle of nowhere, i do have to keep the car rejo'ed, and that means an inspection in March. the inspector made a mate of mine put mudflaps behind his front wheels to pass, so im thinking having no mudflaps isn't going to fly.
anyways. anecdotally i heard Shep got a rig approved by the vsb to run some pretty big rubber.
has anyone had any recent dealings? obviously id like to be truthful and honest and tell them upfront what i "intend on doing"
but its more important that the car is registered so i dont get a ticket in the long run so if i have to call the 75mm lift a 50mm lift, i will....
any info on how tough they are and if im pushing shit uphill?
Honest mod list would be: 75mm front and rear lift, shock relocators 50mm body lift castor corrected front arms no front sway bar, RHS sway bar mount broken off axle housing 30x9.5's increased rear wheel track from 1600mm to 1620mm full floating rear conversion rear disk conversion with R31 calipers
roof is 6" taller all in all. what do you guys reckon?

In qld no full bodied vehicle is require to have front mudflaps as that job is taken care of by the bodywork. May be different in NT but I doubt it. As for the rest of your list, talk to the guy that will be inspecting it.

have had him tell me it's 100% approved by the NT .gov peeps on numerous occasions... if failbook wasn't a busload of fail, i'd search for his posts. i know he lurks here, NFI of his user name though guarantee that he won't pipe up and admit it's his though.

The other option I have is remove the BL which would make it look a lot more normal. But thats 2 days of welding and refiting the rear bar.

Just do the paperwork and send it in. They will tell you if they want anything different.
