GV 04 has factory deck. Looking for something decent to replace and that will incorporate a Reverse Camera.

>Are there any branded (Alpine, Pioneer) decks with screen (for reverse camera) that fit in and replace factory two Din?
>Does anyone have a reverse camera set-up on their GV - using either Rear View Mirror or Deck?

I know you can buy the ebay convert to single Din Facia. I also dont want to use a cheapo ebay 7inch deck with gps etc, that break after after a years use.

Double-din do "fit" (the factory stereo is a double-din) but you will need to be mindful of depth of the unit as well as spending a few hours with a dremel and a lot of patience making the rounded corners in the silver HVAC surround/facia be able to accommodate a head unit with square corners.

There's an old post on here somewhere with pictures of what can be done. It might be under XL-7 as (IIRC) they're the same only with the tacky woodgrain trim.

Here you go: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=44284

For the reversing camera, I just bought a universal fit CCD camera that I fitted into the bumper skin above the number plate. It involved drilling a 22mm odd sized hole through the plastic bar, but gives an excellent view. (PS: CCD cameras tend to give better picture quality than CMOS; you can buy cheap cameras off Ebay that supposedly use Sony CCD's in them. Mine was around $25 delivered, it's similar to this one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Sony-CCD ... 25960eadf5 .)
