I'd recommend an SJ50 or SJ70 over a '40. 40's are getting pretty old. It's not even that easy to find a good one now.

The F10A engine in the SJ40 is tough and loves a rev, but finding motors in good condition is hard.

The 1st gear is tall in the stock F10A gearbox, and they have a small clutch - not a good combination.

SJ70 would be the pick.

it's green & has a toyota motor... i'm not much of a sierra guy, but if it didn't have the 4k in it i reckon it could be a good buy depending on how bad the body is.

would be worth checking it out to see how it looks.

Sierras go great on the sand it just sucks when your following something with a wider track width as your in one wheel rut only

Hmm, that actually looks like quite a good buy, LWB's are the pick of the 1.0 litres.

I'd pull the anchor out and put a 1.6 in it. Body actually looks pretty good considering. I've paid more for less. Twice.
