Hi all,

We're in need of a driver's side rear axle for our 2003 Jimny and we're having a bit of trouble finding one! Are these the same as a Sierra WT rear axle, or are they a different size or spline count? Any help would be much appreciated...don't want to go buy the wrong thing, cheers.

Same spline count, different length. They are not interchangeable.

Actually I should also confirm whether all Jimny rear axles are interchangeable? Ie. will an earlier or later model axle fit?

I believe they are all the same but the later ones will have ABS rings fitted. I am yet to prove that this is true though.

I think anything pre-ABS is fine.

(depending where you are) I know of one, cause I've bought the left (passenger) side axle out of a wreck in cairns for my 2003 model. get a wheel bearing kit while your at it.
