Hey guys wondering can I fit 6.5.1 reduction gearing into the light switch 1ltr transfercase I have been told it can be done as the 1.3 leafy and 1ltr cases are the same and the 6.5.1 gears replace all the gears in the transfer case so it will work is this true please help

Yup, will work fine. You may need to trim a little inside the case to clear the gears, exactly as is required for a 1.3 install.

Sell your 1ltr for heaps($300 last one I sold), purchase a 1.3 case($50 for the last one I brought), fit the gears. Ive never had to make clearance for gears but maybe you will, depending on the case.

I wouldnt get too dreamy about extra cash
In my opinion 1.0l cases arent in huge demand any more. Currently really struggle to get $150-$175. $300 is a lot of coin relative to the current cost of much better gears etc. And then the receiver is putting 1.0l flanges on a 1.3 case. So that old case which gets swapped out becomes worth a lot less. Costs a lot of coin for 12% reduction in high/low.
1.3 cases with wt flanges sell quick and are in highest demand nt drum brakes are in low demand, which keeps the nt flange cases steady cases without flanges are very cheap

A case is worth what someone is willing to pay, same for any part on a sierra. IF your not in a position to make some cash dealing for a 1.3 case, or generally don't give a fuck then fit the gears. IF you think any single part on a sierra is not worth more than $200, your dreaming mate.

Go ahead and fit the gears. The old 1.0lt gears you take out won't be ruined, they'll still be perfectly usable for someone to fit into a 1.3 case, and you might be able to sell the gears alone for $50-$100. Or put them in a box and re-install them if you get the poos with the 6.5 ratio.

You will need to trim the inside of the case if you're putting 6.5s
