Now ive done ruf a few times now and expected have to redrill the rear spring mount 30mm or so to accomodate the longer spring to prevent the shackles flipping up under compression but this was not the case. I have a shackle angle of 45* or so and no issues under flex ramp conditions.
Now it was a factory suzuki leaf pack but shorter by a little compared to all the others i have used ????
Anyone else experianced this before ?

My maruti rears were 20mm shorter than wt factory rears.
Caused grief when I set the front up for run using rear spring spacings. Shorter springs and a heavier front end killed the shackle angle.

Very odd just meant it bolted in and was kind of perfect ???
Previously had to redrill hangers to stuff around getting shackle angle right

No they are definately sierra, they could be maruti lwb ?
ive put them in my maruti front god knows what those crazy indians could have done haha might be my car thats oddball

My blue pacs didn't need really need an extension with 95mm shackles.

Arnt lwb rears shorter to give a taller shackle angle for better load carrying ability?

Have never done a RUF, what springs do people use?
If I have lifted springs, do I use lifted rears? or are OME rears same height?
Do I just mix and match or is there a rule of thumb involved?
Any help appreciated

Lifted springs will require chassis extension or rear hanger relocation.
With standard rears you can just redrill the rear spring hanger or in my case get lucky and need no mods at all.
I normally just use the top spring for length as good cond stock rears are pretty old and hard to find. I mix and match a lifted front pack with stock rears

I just put stock rears in the front of mine and with 2inch ext shackles they are perfect no changes. The shackle angle is pretty flat but good for my intended use.

I dont know what they came out of though just know they are stock sierra springs. Sometimes you get lucky haha
