Ok so I have a set of 225/75R16 MTs on Grand Vitara steel rims and I would like to know if they will fit a standard Jimny. Thanks in advance...

yeah no probe. wheel stud pattern is the same.... only problem is the offset of the rims, check that first also you can always take one wheel off and try it think it was steaky who had a blue jimmy with 16" wheels

There's a few on here running 16s.
There's a good pic on one if the Jimny builds (i think Paul?). But as Bert says, check offset.

Yes I know stud pattern is the same, I think offset is +5? Just more concerned about tyre clearance. I don't have a Jimny otherwise I would try them on, someone wants to buy them but it would be good to know if they will fit so I'm not selling them something they can't use. Cheers for the answers

Rim offset is basically the same, so I don't see it as a "problem"
I think GV rims look great on Jimny's.

Shep is running tall 16"s with a 4" lift. neg offset can help a little when your driving a top heavy jimny

These are the ones I was thinking of that PaulW has, there is a pic on the first page showing the rim clearance; -16x8 Racingline alloy rims -235/60r16 Bridgestone AT d697 Build thread here (all pics on the first page are huge and might take a while to load); http://www.auszookers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=718981#p718981
