Not a direct answer to your question, but this is a standard Jimny with only a 2 inch body lift running 32s.

Stock standard suspension.

Like all cars, nothing about the way the car operates is improved by adding more lift.

Unlike most cars, lifted springs on the front of jimny's bind before the axle can reach the bumpstop.

lower the better i think with the largest tires , low center of gravity is the way to go big lifts are only for looks i think

6 1/2" at the door handles. its handy for keeping water out....

Sill clearance is important to me. Especially with smaller tyres.
I position my wheels over rocks etc., to avoid hanging up the diffs.
So my sills are at risk. As said, keeping water out can be better with some lift.
If keeping low, strong sills are a good idea, so doors will still open.

Lift of any kind comes with losses,
but my above reasons helped me decide to keep my body lift, when I dropped tyre size.

Some suspension lifts also add a small amount of extra travel.

Short Jimmys should have less sill problems than my long Vit, of course.
