I'm looking into setting up my LJ to flat tow

I would like to use the hitch n go frame as it looks the goods and is plated. Can anyone give me the dimensions for it. I would like to incorporate the hitch points into tow points

I've seen a few and a few back yard ones

The brake is hooked up via pull cable to the brake pedal lights are loomed in with a plug for ease.
The towed vehicle has to be registered but not sure whether limited rego will suffice

I know in nsw the tow rig has to be 3.5 times the weight of the towed rig

Is that braked or unbraked, it seem an awfully excessive ratio for braked to me
Pretty sure QLD is different and goes on the towing capacity as per the manufacturer

3.5:1 TOWING RATIO.
The GVM of the motorhome must be at least 31/2 times the laden mass of the vehicle being towed. Unlike towing a trailer, which does not have steering, this requirement is intended to provide stability. All state traffic authorities require adherence to a towing ratio of 3.5:1. To find out how much weight your motor home can haul safely, you must consider the motor home's tow rating and the rating of the tow bar . Depending on the motor home's capabilities, you could easily tow a small car or four wheel drive.

Also it's illegal to fit a hitch & go yourself. It has to be fitted by an accredited person or the compliance plate isn't valid.

I downloaded the guide from QLD transport. From what I read 3.5 -1 ratio is only for unbraked. Maximum towed weight is as per manufacturers specs. You can fit yourself just need an engineer to sign off. Both vehicles need to be registered ( not sure whether limited rego is ok for the towed vehicle). You can use the car lighting or a trailer light bar as long as it is secured.

I would still like to know the answer to my original question though. The dimension between the eyes for the towed vehicle
