Hi guys

I have been looking into a locker for the front of my coily.
There is a site izook where a guy put 26 spline side gears into the front diff and changed the axles to suit.

I was wondering if i done this is it possible to put a locker in there.

Sorry if its a noob question but i havent had much to do with 4x4 sierras before.

Also what is involved it changing the front diff to a leafy if possible?

Cheers
Don

A shit tonne of work to properly fab a leafy diff in.

You could maybe try running stronger cvs and getting some hytuff short shafts made up (I think tanshi may be able to help).

Probably need to pull the front diff out and measure, but I would guess an autolocker would fit in the the front diff, id look at sierra 1.3L size first, then possibly 1.0L size.

Have you considered no front locker ,
I have ran 30's and rear locked for a while , and to be honest wouldn't bother me if I was never able to get a front locker.
It's sill a heap of fun and can drive 95% of the tracks ie ever pointed it up.
I would say if you really need/want a front locker then buying a leaf sierra would be best bet, just remember to keep the coily fule tank. Those hens teeth are hard to come by.
