Could I please get the measurement of NT and WT spring spacing.
Front and rear.

Couldnt find any definitive measurement in a search. Would be handy to have this info readily availavle.

I thought the chassis were the same bar the hanger spacing? If so whip out ya tape and measure the separation of the inner rail right at the rear and front and add the width of a rail to this since the hangers on an NT are centered on the rails. This will give you the spacing measurements for NT.

The front is JR, but the back isn't quite exactly under the rails from memory

If anything are they spaced wider, towards the outside of the rail? I'm sure that Dan is chasing a flexxy setup so provided the springs clear the diff center wouldn't it be beneficial and simpler to position them dead center of the rails, even inboard them slightly more?

I just checked, The rear hanger on the rear springs is directly underneath, the front mount of the rear springs is next to the chassis rail.

I actually just wanted WT to mount my perches on the floater at work but thought this could become a decent tech thread with all measurements

Perch measurements- center to center.
NT Front: 640mm
NT Rear: 880mm
WT Front: 730mm
WT Rear: 960mm
That's what I got anyway, not sure if I held my tounge right when measuring though!

Is it possable to run twin perches on a diff to make it easy to swap in between cars

Considering swapping means dicking around with brakes and brake fluid etc
buying an extra WT diffs (a set for both) would be easily justified.

If trying to use upgraded/modified and/or locked diffs between a DD and a trail rig, I could understand the desire.
But in practice itd be a PITA

It is possible but probably quite hard to do with stock axles, my axles are sleeved with 3" tube so it's easy to have a decent length perch that can be used for both.



I haven't got any pics of the front but it's pretty much the same. Only reason mine are like this is because they were originally built for WT spacing and it was the easiest way to modify them to fit my NT Sj, however they might be going back under a WT Lwb soon so it's pretty handy.
