Might be able to help more if you specify the model.

Just replied to another thread about this yesterday.

I've also got a 2014 Jimny and have just recently had a Safari Snorkel fitted, when choosing I ran into the same issue, all models only had compatibility up to the 2011 model. BUT the Safari can be fitted. Under the bonnet everything fits just fine, all that had to be done externally was to have a small bracket made up that is attached to the snorkel / car body where the snorkel comes up the side of the windscreen.

Here's a link to some pics of mine: http://imgur.com/a/gyEb4

The bracket on mine is just 3mm aluminium. The only thing I've noticed is I get a little vibration when I initially accelerate hard (as in pedal to the floor) as its sucking harder. I might try putting a piece of foam / rubber underneath the bracket where it contacts with the body, otherwise maybe consider a steel bracket, might be a bit sturdier.

Not sure what state you're in. I'm in Melbourne and this done at Piranha out in Boronia, these guys are little pricey, but seem to know what they're doing.

Hope that helps.

Andrew
