Hey guys, other projects have forced me to sell this car which I had planned to keep..

A bit of background on the car..

I purchased it in 2010 and shortly after commenced restoring it. It was given a paint job ($4000) also had one stop suzi shop do work on the gearbox, and I sourced an original steel body tray for it and restored it aswell.
the engine has been tidied up and runs great.
all the drive line and suspension is original.
It has a couple of rust bubbles on the roof and a couple on the guard but the rest of the paintwork is quite good.
Car is located SE QLD and I'm after $6500

its a nice car. but you have no hope of getting anywhere near 6K for it.

5 year old $4000 paint job with rust bubbles does not sound good. It may pay you to fix that up if you want top dollar for it - It does look nice and I like the tray lining

I had sold it in the past for $7100 (yes $7100) and bought it back as the owner was losing his business and needed to sell.

1. The cost of the paintjob is irrelevant to your statement
2. That's 5 YEARS on a SUZUKI LJ which are extremely prone to rust with only 2 blowouts.

no one is shitting on your thread except you.

we are offering advise, as the over inflated 7k you got for it was a very rare thing, if you want to sell it without waiting for some freak with that kinda money you will listen to advise. if you don't care if you sell it or not then don't.

ive seen a nicer ones sell for a lot less.

Price drop > $5200 for az members comes with the spare alloy tray as well.

I saw it advertised for $5800 elsewhere. I assume some sucker paid full whack.
