What engine / hybrid should I do?

Hi all. Bit of a conundrum..

We have a 96 coily sj80 that we are refreshing.
We also have a crashed Jimny.

Sierra has a 8v g13ba carby with just 70k on it.
Jimny has an injected 16v g13bb with well over 100k on it (can't remember exact km)

Now, what engine do we jam into the Sierra?
Car will be the Mrs daily and lightish 4wd'ing.

Options.
A. Keep the g13ba, carb and all.
B. Keep the g13ba, but bolt on the Jimny egt and coils (is this possible?)
B1. Stock Jimny ecu.
B2. Mega squirt ecu (already have it ready)
C. g13bb head, inj, coils onto g13ba block. (pretty sure the head will bolt on?)
. . Again Jimny ecu or MS.
D. G13Bb complete swap.

So what say the forum? (other engines aren't going to be considered. Only what I ready have.)

My vote is for option C with Mega squirt..

As per Dan, G13BB. Don't mess with it and keep it reliable (for an engine conversion anyway).

G13bb stock. You get efi and the coily tank can take a fuel pump easy. (No innuendo intended)

My only concern is that the g13bb has double the km of the *ba.

I want to do a quad care or quad efi setup but the Mrs doesn't.

Your missus is right!
And use the g13bb, bastardising to keep the g13ba will suck, ive been there done that. Its not worth it.

Also if u swap cams over the g13bb ecu and wiring will run a baleno coilpack g16b at a later date should u want to upgrade.

definitely D. Just put a G13bb into mine and its great , easy to install just a bit time consuming integrating the loom to existing one

It may have more KMs, but unless someone has been very naughty and not taken care of it, 100k (or 62,000 miles) is not a lot - at least on this side of the Pacific. I replaced a perfectly-good G13A at 100000 miles for a rebuilt G16.

A modern, up-to-date fuel/air delivery system is a wonderful thing.

Thanks guys. I'll have a chat to the Mrs, pull the *bb and give it a good going over to make sure it's in top condition befor chucking it in.

Is there a difference between the two gearbox's? As in is the Jimny a better design?
Actually the Jimny has an electronic speedo sensor. That's not going to work with the Sierra being a cable speedo...
