Hi all...I was wondering if theres any benefit to be had by blanking off the EGR in my M18A Jimny? It looks easy enough to get to but I wont bother if it doesnt help.
I know on diesels it makes a big difference but unsure about this one.
Any thoughts appreciated.

It shouldn't make a difference if everything is running as per factory - the EGR (on petrol motors at least) is only open at light throttle openings to save fuel/reduce emissions.

It won't make any difference to outright power but you may lose some mid-throttle power and economy by removing it.
