Has anyone else bought some MPH extractors off ebay for the G16B Sierra conversion recently ? Mine arrived today and the bolt holes are way too big, the studs are swimming in there. Just wondering if this is normal quality for cheap extractors or not ?

I'm not overly impressed with mine, Already showing rust through the paint (as if the paint was put over rusty pipe) and I haven't even driven the car.
I can't quiet remember how the studs were but I'll have a look tomorrow.

Oversized stud holes are normal/common.

I'm happy enough with the rest of the fitment and clearance, paint is very light on in spots though.

need over sized holes to make sure the plate will bolt up to the head ... from picture that is not too bad

On the paint - IMHO no paint will stay on extractors long term. The extractors on the trolley tug were very thinly painted in header paint and it didn't last more than a couple of months before it looked terrible/fell off. Might be better in a road car that doesn't wee water and mud, but no good for our use. Ceramic coat or stainless.

Do you mean by aligning all the holes up, is there a difference in the bolt/stud pattern between all the G16B's ? The stock manifold is a nice snug fit and needs to be wriggled slightly to get it to come off, 1.5mm or less on each hole would be acceptable I would have thought not 2-3mm on everyone and the 2 bolt holes that the inlet pipe bracket bolts to is unthreaded and close to 14mm not the 10mm it needs to be. Presumably the steel flange isnt going to expand any differently to the stock cast iron one ? So they wouldnt be expansion joints.
