I have a 1999 SQ416 grand vitara with a G16B engine.
Can anyone tell me what model starter motor fits.
I have tried the one in the book which is mxs811 but doesnt even look the same

I purchased an MXS326 starter motor which is listed to fit the H20,J20 and H25.
This one fitted and worked in my SQ416

Strange that the starter would be so different.

Had the same problem with the CV. The front drivers side cv was noisy so decided to replace complete cv unit.
IE inner and outer cv. The one listed for sq416 had a smaller spline on the inner cv. Ended up I had to get cv assembly for a 2.0ltr model
