Hey auszookers!
I've just bought a 2001 Jimny JXL and although it's a great little car, I find the seats a bit uncomfortable and wouldn't mind replacing them.

If I can help it, I don't really want to engineer new rails/etc - so I was wondering if there were seats out there in the market that would bolt straight in.

Does anyone know if late model Jimny seats fit straight into the JXL?

Thanks in advance...

A 'member' on here fitted his 2000 model with 2014 model seats. By all accounts they were AMAZING.

AFAIK rails are the same throughout the Jimny years.

Thanks for the fast response everyone.

Do you know what model Vitara seats work?

I will call a wrecker and see if I can measure up some Vitara and late model Jimny seats to see.

I haven't ruled out a bit of fabrication for the drivers seat though, as I'd like to move the seat back about another 4 or 5 inches for leg room.
