Howdy all...a week ago I had my new exhaust done,it.consists of genie wildcat headers,hi flow cat,2 inch pipe and a tri flow rear muffler. Now while I'm happy with the way it goes now,I can't stand the shitty raspy sound it's making! It sounds like it's echoing in a can.
I was told to wait til it carbons up but I don't see it getting much better...so the question I have is what other mufflers can I use to give me a deeper, quieter note?
There must be a way of making it sound better without the awful tinny noise I currently have.
Any suggestions appreciated

I spoke to my boss today and he said that he had a full exhaust done on his evo 8 lancer and he said it took 4 weeks til he noticed that it had got deeper and quieter,so maybe I'll wait and be patient a bit longer to see how it goes. It may grow on me?
Not a bad price either...I failed to mention in my first post that it also has a resonator/hotdog and Midas did it all for $850 including installing my new headers and painted it all black. Kewl
