hey guys 1st post but long time reader of the forum tho, im running a pair of KL71 MT tyres 205/80/r16 they work well in the mud but have decided on maybe geting a second set of rims and getting the new released Kumho MT51 tyres they are not yet released in new zealand for sale coming later in the year just wondering if anyone is running them on there Suzuki in Australia and what they think of them . i own a grand vitara 2004 btw. If you have KL71s for Mud, what are you buying the MT51s for? If it is exclusively for on-road then you might as well get road tyres. The MT51 appears very mike like an AT tyre, kumho themselves say they're 50% on and offroad.

Just as food for thought though, check out the KL78... I reckon it'd go better than the MT51 if you want mainly on road but a little light offroad.

Yea have thought about the kl78's but i like to to see if anyone has got a pair of mt51's yet and what they think seem well suited to both my needs road and farm and bush. also the tread pattern looks good on the mt51's for wide range of uses's including beach and sand fishing got the spare GV rims waiting for my new rubber needs!
