Are snorkels different for SWB and LWB 94 models? A guy is selling a Safari snorkel, and tells me it's the SS800HF model (see http://www.safarisnorkel.com/docs/snorkel/suzuki.html). That means it suits the TA01G16A engine.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but my 94 LWB would be the TA01G16B, hence would need the SS850HF.

So, would the SS800HF snorkel fir my car?

I would reckon the snorkel is likely to be the same, jsut the engine bay piping would differ

if you look at the detailed instructions for both youll see the difference, though the EFI one is different to mine as well

I'm putting the SS800HF onto my 94 LWB Vitara and what I can see with this is the pipe that extends through the guard needs at least 50mm cut off it. So maybe the only difference is it is longer to allow the ducting for the carby to fit. Mine is made of fibreglass though so it's not genuine but that mightn't mean anything .
