Hi guys, I have done a search and haven't come up with anything yet.
Has anyone had any problems with power to the head unit and cigarette lighter? I have checked all the fuses and all are perfect.
I didnt think to check if there was power to the head unit until I replaced the assumed not working one that was in the car when I purchased it. After installing a new one and it not working I thought to check all power cables and neither the constant or the ignition seem to have power. The cigarette lighter lights up when the head lights are on, but doesn't produce enough power to charge my phone (it just says its charging).
I am in no way at all an auto electrician, but installing head units has never been a problem for me in the past.
Any help would be appreciated guys.

Ok guys. I am not sure of the lighter still... It seems to be temperamental lol.
But I decided to troubleshoot the head unit issue... Apparently the earth was not earthing.
Changed the position to somewhere that my voltmeter earthed well on and power was found haha.
