I recently purchased a 2003 automatic H25A GV sports to swap the diff gearing into my '98 GV manual. I will be running 225/75 tyres.
I was looking to just swap the complete front and rear diffs over. This seems to be no problem, I just need to cut the abs sensors and leave them bolted into the rear diff by the looks of it.
My issue however is with the front diff centre mounting that rests on the crossmember.
I will be running diff drops and have purchase the angled centre diff bush from bits4vits, however the 2003 model diff centre mounting is completely different to my '98 model. There seems to be a few ways that I could fix this but I would need a visual on it at the time of installation because I was hoping to do it all in 3 days.
Has anyone ever done a diff drop in a 2003 GV sports? And how did you go with the centre mounting?
Any help or ways around this would be appreciated

From what I have read you need the cross member mount to match the diff center you're using.

Yep, just unbolt the 2 bolts in the crossmember and the mount will come straight off and bolt to the other gv. You wont be able to use the angled bush though.

I undid the two bolts from the crossmember for the bush mounting, but won't this mount not sit flat given the new angle caused by the diff drop? It doesn't seem like the bush will have enough give in it.
