Righto,
Wired up my light bar to my new 2015 jimny, used a pre fabricated wiring harness. has a switch from relay to the high bream splice
problem i have is that When the
parkers are on the light bars on
lights off light bar on
lights on light bar off
high bream they are on


how do i get it so that when the lights are off or the park lights are on that the light bar stays off.

The headlights on the Jimny use negative switching. That means that there is always power applied to the +ve side of the globe and the grounded side is actually switched to ground when they are on. Low and high beam work that way but not the other lights. It sounds like you might have been connecting to the +ve side of the globe to get power for the LED bay. My guess is that you have not taken this into account and used a harness for a +ve switched system which is normal on most cars. There are some diagrams on this forum which show you how to wire up the relay but I can't locate it after a quick look.

Also, if the relay used is the typical generic automotive relay, you may have connected the positive line to the LED light bar to the opposite state relay switch connection:



If you connect to the "87A" connector instead of the "87" connector, you would get the results you describe...

...and yes, as Mike57 stated, Suzuki tends to use reverse polarity on the headlamp circuit.
