As above what's the easiest way to get the anti theft bolts off from the bracket that holds the ignition barrel on?

bye  Point well taken! ...although I purchased a Maruti ignition switch and door lockset ($80 US from Roadless Gear) because the previous owner seemed to have a problem with the existing switch... he installed a starter button in the tintop, then threw away the keys!

It's just 4 small digits..I bought a couple of wrecks without keys over the years, and always been able to get keys cut..maybe it's on the drivers side door lock??

Vice grips worked awsome!!!! The top bolt was woeful had to rip the speedo out to get to it...

 THERE'S ALSO A SPECIALIST LOCKSMITH TOOL SHAPED LIKED A SCREWDRIVER WITH A HARDENED BLADE FOR THOSE ANTI THEFT SCREWS FOR NUMBER PLATES..

+1 for the easy out bits. 1. Drill small hole 2. Cuck in the easy out withe the drill in reverse.
