Thinking of doing the baleno swap, i understand what's involved and total costs will be around 2500-3000$ Between parts and the engine, I will do all the work then plus $600 to engineer it for wa, my 1.3 does still run great but the carby is well due for a rebuild and it always struggles to sit on 100 kph, just wondering how the baleno motor is like for power? My reason for wanting to do the swap is to get some actual fuel economy haha (16l/100km at present with my heavy foot and235 bighorns) , I'd like to be able to sit on 110kph as I plan on using the zook for some long traveling next year, and I'd love some proper power behind it :) and advice would be great cheers, just not sure if the benefits justfy the costs

Really?? And stock gearing, I often switch between stock road wheels, a/t s and 235 muddies depending on where I'm going and how far.

This is my third Sierra and I just find this one a little slow, but with a change of life plans I will need something that can sit on 100 at least and do long trips 500ks plus :) while returning good fuel economy. I only get 260ks now and that is driving slow with 205s I love my zook and don't want to sell it and buy a bigger 4x4
