Yes really. Getting stuck in a 2x4 is why I bought a Suzuki, having to do highway driving to get anywhere in this state is the reason I no longer have one as my daily driver and weekender.

If we are talkin about doing highway driving (which would be logical if he's asking about long ranger tanks) I'd 100% pick a taxi over an 86 sierra like the OP.

Personally if it were me I'd do the boat fuel tank or the 7.50 spare in the back, or drive something else. I guess that makes me uncool.

Mine's got 31" tyres and a fair whack of lift though, so aerodynamically it's woeful, even by sierra standards.

I get 9ltrs per 100km at 107kmphr
on 32"s but my tanks squashed so only about 300km range.
I think an extra 20 ltrs in a small underbody tank would be ideal

I seem to be getting about 12/100 is my standard lwb vit 1.6 16v.

Am wondering why it is so bad. My auto box is due to hav filters replaced.

Any one got a pic and some measurements of a jimny tank. Would one fit in a gv with a body lift? There is a huge amount of space under there

Jimny tanks are psyically bigger then a sierra tank and would be a poor choice for a aux tank. Plus are only 40L.
