Vehicle: 94 Vitara 1.6 turbo

I'm selling my turbo set up that came off a SE416 G16b EFI Vitara. I was running on gate pressure (6psi) on a standard motor and made 75rwkw. It's a Garrett GT17 and has a low boost threshold (about 1500rpm) so it is perfect for 4WDing. The tougher the track, the harder the turbo works and it makes easy work of sand or mud. It's ready to go when you are.
It comes with the GT17 turbo, which I rebuilt about 2000kms so it's got new seals and bearings. The internal gate has been welded up and it runs an external gate instead. Comes with the manifold and dump pipe too.
Also have a blow off valve, a spare front cover for the turbo if you want to run v-band, some cooler pipes (can provide more than what's in the photo if you're interested) and a brand new Aeroflow AF49-1015B fuel pump.
It sounds awesome (as turbos do), and is perfectly suited for the Vitara.

I'm after $600 negotiable but will consider swapping for a double swag (completely zip up) plus cash my way.

what are the odds this would suit a G16B powered jimny ? i'm guessing the computer etc would spit the dummy ? is there anywhere in the manifold to fit an O2 sensor ?

I assume it'll bolt up to the motor because it's still a G16b. There's the question of clearing the firewall and guards but unless you have massive guards or a funky shaped firewall that wraps around the motor, you should be ok. I bought the kit off a G16b Sierra and I had to move the wastegate up a bit to clear the Vitara firewall so it now fits Vitara and Sierra.

I was (and still am) running aftermarket management with a Microtech. I'm unsure how well factory management can be tweaked to support a turbo, I just went straight for the option I knew would be tunable.

There's an O2 sensor bung already welded in the dump pipe right off the exhaust housing (you can see it in the first photo). I you want me to move it into the manifold or add one to the manifold, I can arrange that.

If you want measurements or you wanna come hold it in your engine bay, I'm happy to help with that.

i'll speak to the local dyno guys & see what their thoughts are, it's really tempting to take a chance but i don't wanna end up with *another* failed mod atm. would love to try it though (i'm in port pirie but could make the trip if they think they can do something with it).

No worries mate, let me know how you go. Just think about the turbo spool noise and mud flying everywhere. It's worth it!

@sideways - before 2000. It depends on load but even in lower gears where it's harder to get the load on without it revving up, it was still really quick. You certainly couldn't get caught off boost on the trails because it'd always be ready to go. Worked a treat on the sand because it lets you get that load on.

It's not the greatest video but here me on the Robe to Beachport, SA trail. You can hear the turbo working just after I go off that edge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iizcshWTPew
