Hey All!
Well it's been too long between sierra drinks (been busy on the patrol front).
Anyway I have spotted a sierra for sale locally that I'm off to have a look at shortly. The bloke has advertised it as 1985 Sierra....but mentions it has lockers.
Now it's been a while since owning my 92 SWB WT...and truth be told I have temporarily misplaced some of my sierra know how. From memory 1985 (tin top) would mean it's an NT? Badging says 1.3 but I'm yet to see it in person.
From memory ARB don't make lockers for the NT diffs? (Please correct me if I'm mistaken). So my question is, how am I best to identify the diffs when I go look at this tin top? (Markings, serial numbers etc?) Without seeing it, I guess most likely is a NT sierra with WT diffs crammed with lockers.....or the bloke has no idea and it has NT diffs with no lockers.
Anyway, thanks in advance for any help you can give me!
Cheers
Colesy

ARB do make lockers for both NT and WT diffs. There is no difference between the two except for the centre, which gets replaced with an ARB install, and the gear ratio. Note that ARB aren't the only ones that make lockers, the car could have lockright's or even a mini spool in it. All of which are available for the NT.

Awesome, thanks for the reply Zook Fan, really appreciate the help.
The seller has said it has ARB lockers, although his English isn't fantastic and as I'm yet to drive it I won't take his word for it.
If they are ARB lockers sitting in NT diffs, can these be swapped to WT diffs at a later date?
