Hi AZ,

I'm doing some repairs on my maruti roof (few cracks and holes) and just wondering if it's a polyester or epoxy based resin glass?

I dare say surfboard epoxy repair type product should be suitable.
If u put flat plastic over the repair while still wet it will give a flat smooth finish. I also have one here that needs repair but was just gunna drop at a surfboard shop they do em dirt cheap

It will be polyester {cheaper}, can repair with either, but expoy sticks to polyester, but polyester will delaminate for poly..so plan for further repairs.....

Thanks fellas, I'll give it a go this week. I've never done any fiber glassing, but I'm hoping it's not too tricky.

Cover as much of your skin as you can, and if it gets on your skin (which invariably happens), shower first with cold water, follow that with a hot shower and then another cold one - the first cold shower flushes whatever debris is on the skin off, the hot shower opens the pores and flushes trapped debris out, and the second cold shower closes the pores.
