Hi guys,
Only just signed up to the forum and not 100% sure on how the whole thing works. Not sure if i can search this site for my problem or just start a thread like i have. Anyway my 2004 GV A/C light has started flashing intermittently. Seems to still be working fine though. I counted 12-13 flashes each time it does this but was a bit hard as i was in traffic. I am thinking the flashes may be a code for a re gas or something similar. Any help would be fantastic!
Not sure on your particular vehicle. But on vehicles I have worked on it usually means the the compressor clutch is slipping/faulty. I'm sure one of the other boys on here will have a definitive answer for you. But maybe in the mean time have a quick look if the compressor clutch is slipping or not engaging properly.
Does your car have horizontal sliders for the A/C controls or circular knobs? If it's the circular knobs, the A/C system is controlled by a computer module (the BCM or Body Control Module) and it has detected an error of some sort, most likely related to one of the actuators.
