Hey all I was working under my zook and I noticed that the rear tail shaft appeared to be coming out of the rear of the transfer case more then normal do I need a tail shaft spacer because I have done a 4.5 inch ???

All the obvious signs point to yes. You will also need to look at the angle on the shaft because you will definitely be putti heaps more stress on the uni's.

4.5" of spring lift in a Vitara? 8O

You'll want a tail shaft spacer & a dropped crossmember if it's all spring lift. tailshaft spacer if it's spring lift + body lift.

It is 2.5 inch suspension lift and 2 inch body lift sorry about not saying that first up, where can I get a tail shaft spacer ?? I will measure the angle of the tail shaft and yeah modify mounting of the gearbox to correct it ?? can I make a tail shaft spacer ??

Yes, you can make one if you have the right material and tooling. Alloy or Steel. Lathe etc.

Do I need diff drop brackets as well ?? where can I buy a tail shaft spacer ?? do I require a front drive shaft spacer as well ?? sorry about all the questions but I am new at this :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer:
